Start a Chicken House!

Help us give our chickens a home! 

Second Mile Haiti welcomed a small flock of laying hens at our Cap Haitian Malnutrition Treatment Center in 2022. Fresh eggs have been an excellent way to get kids to eat a protein-rich snack they actually love! 

Our laying hens worked hard this year and we are so thankful for them. 

Now we need to give the ladies the kind of habitat they truly deserve. 

One that keeps them cool, safe, and in the egg-laying mood. 

Build a hen house at one of our three facilities and you can give that house a name. This is one of the big ticket items in the Holiday Catalog—happy chickens, healthy families, and big investment in the future of Second Mile.
